Why am I an "Extremist"

In the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful

All praise is to Allah the lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings of Allah be on the prophet , who spoke the truth, and delivered the message, and we are amongst those who testify to that.

And there after…

I was prompted to write this article after reading another one whose title read, "Why am I a terrorist?"

It was written by a non-muslim, who was opposing America's foreign policy.

I thought it very fortunate, because the title impressed me, and him being a non-muslim helped me to steal that title and express my views on it!

(Note: I changed the title a little, so that it clears that I am not a thief!!)

The hot topic over the world today is terrorism!

Goodness, and how this word has changed its meaning form time to time! At first, the dictionary gave it the meaning of those who instill fear in the hearts of people in order to get their demands. By the turn of the 21st century, with the famous 9/11 attacks, that word started being associated with the "people who carried them out", later, when the Taliban refused to hand over Osama (because of the lack of evidence against him), they were included, later still, those who supported the Taliban, also fell into this category(though they were pretty few, at least at that time). On the other side all others who were till now labeled with this word, were safe on the harbor, no one to recall that such groups existed before the alleged "al Qaeda". Slowly, all the patches of Muslims, over the world, who were bravely putting up fights against oppression came into the universe of this word. But had the journey to end here, most muslims (as they call themselves, who, not for a second hesitate to sympathize with American victims and yet take ages to realize that muslims have been slaughtered for many generations by these very people, who could have otherwise elected a government that did not support Israel) would have thought sounded fine, but that did not happen! Gradually , Muslims no matter who, started being arrested all over the world, with every bomb that blasted in any corner of the world the statement "the possibility of it being a terrorist attack has not been refuted"

Aaaal! Beautiful!, there comes the generalization! The enemy keeps teaching us ,

"a girl had a pet goat…"

that we are attacking the "Islamic fascists" only.

You attach the word islam with that and still expect us to believe you that the war is not on Islam!

Sounds cool, rit?

What gives me the creeps is this, imagining muslims who were supposedly "moderate", when they are captured how long will they wish to stay moderate, would they be pleading with the enemies, "look I am a moderate muslim, please leave me alone, I am not a terrorist"

And the enemy, "well! We decide who is a moderate and who is not!, we need you as a weapon to prove our point, so as long as you are helping us, you are a moderate…and when we need to use you!..Tutt! tutt!"

There goes the siren, the bullets… your house is raided… things taken…and they smile, we are so glad you are still in our land because we need to label you as terrorists to convince our public to support the war on terrorism.

Very elaborate story, ain't it?

You know why they catch MODERATE muslims, because they can not catch the extremist muslims! and even if  they catch them, extremist muslims either suffer and die in glory, proud to have served their religion , or they remain a pain in the neck of their enemy even if detained.

The biography of brother Adil Kamil, who returned from Guantanamo stands out as a clear proof.

Oh yes! You are right! Absolutely right, we must never support terrorism, never to kill innocent people, but it's high time we decide who is innocent and who is not!

Those paying the tax and funding atrocities are these same people

Those attacking our lands and people are the sons of those same people.

Those raping our women are the sons of the same people

Those killing our children are the sons of the same people

Those raiding our houses are the sons of the same people

Yet they are innocent?

Then what are muslims…? ANIMALS?

If muslims consider their brothers in other countries animals, then plz I would recommend them to see the UN laws against cruelty towards animals… even that's a crime!

The time to play good guy is over, isn't the time to help your brothers in the oppressed lands come yet. Isn't it wiser and lovlier to live in a land that permits you to breathe the fresh air, even without luxuries, but where the sound of Azan rings from the east to the west…proclaiming… there is no god but Allah!

Take a brief look at the description of a typical terrorist…

"long beard"

that's the way our prophet was!

"declares war on America"

the prophet declared war on Rome

"avenges for the dead"

the prophet swore vengeance when it was believed that "othman{ra}" has been killed.

Or in general… an extremist

"Pants above the heels"

the prophet wore his' like that.

"Follows the Quran strictly"

the prophet ordered to that point.

How is a moderate muslim?

Clean-shaven, frenchee, goatee!

Stresses on the easy part of Islam

Like behavior…points of disagreement between ulema…who is right & who is wrong?

Praying, fasting , hajj, zakah…

and the main point?

You were the best of the nation sent amongst mankind… you order good …and abandon evil…and believe in Allah…

And how are we to order good and abandon evil?

If any of you sees wrong, let him change it with his hand…

Where is Islam? Do you believe in some of the book and disbelieve in the other?

Allah has ordered us to fight those who fight our religion…

And if they are called to fight in the way of Allah they turned their backs…

So, where do you count yourself… do you want to be a extremist or a moderate?

If being a true muslim, who follows Islam strictly, is extremism, oh then please count me first in!

You might as yet look about and hesitate? What options do I have? Then you indeed have many… but on the last day, there will be no option.

Fear Allah! Indeed Allah is more worthy to be feared of.

And they scare you of those beside him?

The least that can be done, is stop paying them tax… come out of their lands…walk off to the lands of Africa, if that's the place you can afford, there are difficulties every where, but not like the one brothers and sisters living in the kafir lands face…in Africa, at least you will be looked upon with dignity…at least, you will say Allah, on the last Day, O Lord!, I left the luxuries of the world for the luxuries of the hereafter…

That's the least, otherwise, people all over the world are oppressed, helping them is not a crime…

If it is…then let you be the first criminal. If being a Muslim is terrorism... then Muslims are proud to be terrorists…

And to the enemies of Islam…"Do you know what kind of terrorists?"

"with which you terrorize the enemies of Allah…"(8:60)

the kinds of terrorists Allah has ordered us to be with His enemies!
