Yes and what is this life except a test, who passes it gets the reward in its fullest and who fails has nothing except torment and hell f ire.

The unbelievers are going to be punished, no matter what they do, how much good may it be, but Allah looks upon those who believe in Him, how righteous are they? How much do they love and practice Islam? Allah bestows on the unbelievers all kinds of bounties in this life, to make it a fitnah for them, that they enjoy, this life a bit and then is the Kabr waiting for them and then the day of resurrection...

The Kabr and the Day of Judgement are the two barriers that we have to cross in order to reach our final and everlasting abode. But why is it, today, that we are totally unconscious, that we don’t think about it. Do you think that you are immortal, that death will never come to you? Did you think that this life is everlasting? Then why? Why? Why don’t you think what will be your condition when the Angel of Death will come to escort your soul? Whether they will be kind to you or harsh to you; beating your whole body, that you will feel throngs of pain, that your soul will not come out of your body except like a cloth being pulled out of a plant full of thorns an it gets torn to bits. Did you ever think what will be the kind of cloth your soul will be wrapped in

 When it is being carried to the heavens, that when the Angels you pass by will say ‘peace be with you’ or will they choke away in disgust, cursing you. Did you think when you reach the heavens, will the door be opened to you or will you be told ‘No!’ and thrown down all the way from the seventh heaven.

Did you think what will happen to your poor lifeless body? Don’t you want the Angels to stand lined up from the masjid to the place of you burial, invoking on you. Don’t you want the Qabr to expand to its full in your welcome? Don’t you want your Qabr to be filled with light? Don’t you wish to answer the questions of the Angels there, with firmness? That after it, they open the windows from paradise for you, so that you can sleep in peace and coolness till the Day of Judgment was trumpeted.

Didn’t you think what will happen if the Angels who question you be dark and ugly, that they ask you everything harshly. What will happen if your tongue didn’t answer even a single question, that the windows from hell are opened and you sense it’s unbearable heat. What will you do if the Qabr encloses on you such that your bones clash into each other, and you see a terrible snake that bites you, every bite a severe torment!!

Well! Nothing, whatsoever will help then. The time bestowed to us for utilization will be over, we have, now, the time to do whatever we want, good or bad! Whether we want to use our time to go to paradise or hell, but as our soul will get weaker, and the Angel of death appears before our eyes, the time will be over.

We normally don’t think what will happen if we do something wrong. Why don’t we think Allah will punish us for the horrible things we do. We never think any of our sins can be major. We don’t think what will take us to hell. We enjoy this life totally and then expect from Allah that he will forgive our sins and grant us paradise.

Our religion Islam has two meanings

1. Islam-peace, with oneself and with the Lord

2. Islam-surrendered or released himself to the will of (derived from the word Assalama) Allah.

I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve me..(51:56)

How much do we surrender ourselves to the wish of Allah? Allah says

And we forget the purpose for what we have been created and follow those astray. No love in the world for anyone will ever be beneficial to us except the love for Allah and his Messenger (peace be upon him)or loving anyone for their sake. The worldly love perishes in the world. There are three things that we possess, mainly, in this world: our money, our loved ones, and our deeds. As for our money it leaves us when we die, and for our loved ones, they leave us near our Qabr and the one that will remain will be our deeds. Then don’t we wish that our deeds be beautiful and shining? No one would want his deeds to be ugly, dark and stingy, that in our Qabr we ask it, “who are you?”. It will answer, “ I am ‘your’ deeds”. Yes! they will be such that even their doer will feel disgusted from them.

Have we not got then, to obey Allah! Our Lord. Who created us, and excellented his creation? Where are we from the orders of our Lord when he says us not to backbite, keep (bad) nicknames for each other? Where are we from the orders of our Lord when he orders us to downcast our eyes? Where are we when Allah commands us to love each other for Allah’s sake? Where are we when Allah commands us not to obey and follow the unbelievers? Where are we when Allah commands us to order good and stop the evil.

Where is the Muslim Ummah? Where are we? Where are the Muslims who love their Lord? We are broken! We are all torn apart. We listen music, we love the actors and the actresses, singers, dancers, when they are all unbelievers and we follow them. Till where will we follow them?…if they go to hell!

O Allah! The Lord of the heaven and earth and that between them. There is no God but You and no one forgives sins except You; so forgive our sins…Ya Rahmaan! Ya Raheem.

“Our Lord, Behold we have heard a voice calling us unto faith “believe in your lord” and we have believed, our lord, forgive us our sins and efface our bad deeds and take our souls in the company of the righteous”(3:194)

Allahumma sabbit aqdamana wansurna aala Al Qawm Al Qafireen. Wa Aaakiru dawanaa an Alhamdulillahi Rabbi Al Aaalameen.
